Home Visit is our new service!

We saw the need for “medical service at home” in our local community specially due to COVID-19 pandemy and fear of being exposed to the other sources of infection.

That’s why we have added this new service to our current face to face and Tele-consultation options.

We strongly believe the regular GP of a patient is the most reliable person for the primary health issues.

How does it work?

If a patient is unable to be seen at the clinic, a home visit may be possible. Please call us and our admins will advise you how to organise a home visit.

Once your home visit is confirmed, our GP will call you to take an initial history over the phone and also to get ready for upcoming visit. Home visits are usually done after the dr finishes the daily session.

In case of Emergency you might be advised to dial 000 or go to the nearest ER in Frankston or Rosebud.

Fees

An additional out of pocket cost will be attached to this to cover the doctors travel time. It’s usually about $150 – $200 out of pock fee for it.

The National Home Doctor Service can also be contacted on 137 425.

An electronic report will be sent to the practice to update your medical file.
