Fotona4D® is a non-invasive laser treatment that can be used for skin tightening treatment. At EMC, we offer Fotona laser skin tightening to help you achieve the skin you’ve always wanted.
Fotona laser treatment for the skin works by exposing a laser light to the interior or exterior of the face in order to promote collagen production. The treatment requires no downtime and allows for skin tightening and volumisation without the need for injectables.
Fotona4D has two laser wavelengths and four treatment modes, meaning treatment is offered at four different levels to target skin imperfections and achieve a smooth, lifted appearance.
It’s a safe and effective skin tightening treatment for everyone, regardless of their skin type.
Most patients enjoy immediate results after Fotona laser skin tightening, with the final result appearing within 14 to 21 days of treatment. A Fotona laser treatment session takes approximately 45 minutes, with a series of 3 to 5 sessions recommended.
Fotona4D® Laser treatments may be combined with other treatments for synergistic and best results e.g. Microdermabaration, Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Aptos Thread Lifts, Fat Transfer, Wrinkle Injections and Dermal Fillers.

What are the Different Modes of Fotona4D® Treatment?
Mode 1: INTRA-ORAL FACIAL
The Smooth™ mode involves using laser for intra-oral tightening of tissues, minimising the nasolabial folds in a similar way to filler.
Mode 2: SKIN REJUVENATION
The FRAC3® mode generates heat to bring about skin rejuvenation. This non-ablative mode targets deep imperfections in the skin to achieve a more youthful look.
Mode 3: SKIN TIGHTENING FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
The PIANO® mode uses an ultra-long laser that heats the skin safely from the outside in order to tighten the skin. Fotona laser skin tightening treatment is suitable for all skin types.
Mode 4: SKIN POLISHING – LASER PEEL
The final mode is a superficial light laser peel that leaves skin feeling smoother and polished. Downtime will be minimal and it varies between 3 – 6 days.

Fotona laser treatment involves no downtime from usual daily activities, and only mild downtime from social activities.

For instance, a vascular lesion treatment will involve a different procedure than hair removal.
