Dr Addison completed her medical degree from Edinburgh University in 1998, and has worked
as a GP since 2005 both in the UK and Australia. She has diplomas in child health and
reproductive health and obtained her MRCGP with honours while working in Bath, England.
She moved to Australia in 2013, and has worked in general practice, skin cancer medicine,
emergency medicine and reproductive health. She obtained certificates in skin cancer medicine
and surgery, as well as aesthetic medicine in Australia. She is an accredited antenatal shared
care provider for Peninsula Health.
Her interests include women’s health, skin cancer medicine and surgery and child health. When
not working, she enjoys time with her family and 2 cocker spaniels. She is a keen runner, often
accompanied by one of the dogs, and plays violin in the Frankston Symphony Orchestra and the
Peninsula Chamber Musicians.
