General Practitioner, clinical nutritionist and bariatrician
Dr Ash completed his medical degree in 2003. He moved to Australia in 2007 and completed a master degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, and a graduate certificate in Sports Nutrition at the University of Canberra in 2009.
Dr Ash worked as a sports nutritionist at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from 2008 to 2009. From 2010 to 2015 he worked as a hospital doctor in Victoria, including as a paediatric registrar from 2013 to 2015. He decided to switch to general practice in 2015 when he worked in regional Victoria (Wodonga) and got engaged in the care of a variety of patients. He joined the Elite team in 2020.
Dr Ash sees patients with a wide range of medical conditions, but his focus and interests include paediatric health (neonates, children and adolescent health), sports nutrition, weight management, preventative care & chronic disease management (adult and children).
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Shara and lovely children Soren and Armen, as well as keeping fit playing football.
